Nice story. I adore Virginia Hall. A Woman of No importance by Sonia Purnell is one of my favorite non-fiction books. The Invisible Woman by Erika Robuck is excellent HF about Virginia Hall.
I’m new and love what you do. But, the females who worked in the brothel were women not girls! The term girl when they mean woman is so prevalent in culture, media, and I am on a mission. It is demeaning and when it is pointed out some use ladies! Ugh. I cannot understand why so many cannot use the word women. I’m not necessarily talking to you, just to the universe.
INCREDIBLE
Wow, amazing story. Thanks for sharing.
This woman....
I read a biography about her several years ago and her spirit is indomitable. Thanks for all of this !!!
Such a great post that I had to order the NYT bestseller: A Woman of No Importance by Sonia Purnell. Absolutely no fear INSPIRING.
Just beautiful. Thank you for this...
Thank you, Mark!
Brilliant. Riveting. Many thanks.

The book is called, „A Woman of No Importance“. Brilliant. There is also a film about her, but not as good.
That’s one way to interpret it. I did not see her as quoting Virginia Hall, just telling her story, which would give leeway to her
